Terms and Conditions Policy

The Al-Salam Palace Museum places great importance on the safety of its guests and strives to provide a unique and enjoyable visiting experience that meets the needs of all visitors. Therefore, we kindly ask for your cooperation in maintaining the security of the museum and its facilities to ensure everyone enjoys a pleasant and exceptional visit.

First: Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the following terms shall have the meanings assigned to each of them below:

  • Al-Salam Palace Museum: Referred to in this document as the Museum, we, our, or us.
  • Museum Premises: The Al-Salam Palace Museum building located in Kuwait City, Arabian Gulf Street, including all its affiliated facilities such as storage areas and outdoor spaces within the museum’s surrounding walls.
  • Guest / Guests: Any individual entering Al-Salam Palace Museum, referred to in this document using pronouns such as you, your, or yours.
  • Ticket: A valid entry ticket issued by the Museum or its officially authorized entities.
  • Terms and Conditions: The clauses and policies outlined in this document that govern the visit and use of the Museum’s facilities.
  • Special Exhibitions: Temporary exhibitions held within the halls of Al-Salam Palace Museum.
  • Order Confirmation: An electronic message containing your order number or the e-ticket issued after completing the booking process.

Second: Entry Policies

  1. All visitors must obtain a valid entry ticket before entering the Museum.
  2. Please keep your ticket with you throughout the visit and present it upon request.
  3. The Museum reserves the right to refuse or cancel any ticket if misused or in violation of the terms.
  4. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to enter the Museum.
  5. The Museum reserves the right to modify opening hours or temporarily close certain halls or facilities for operational or security reasons without prior notice.

Third: Code of Conduct Inside the Museum

  1. Please maintain quietness and respect the privacy of other visitors.
  2. Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the Museum halls or within its enclosed areas.
  3. Eating and drinking are not allowed inside the exhibition halls.
  4. Do not touch or approach the exhibits unless explicitly indicated as interactive.
  5. The entry of hazardous, sharp, or flammable materials is prohibited.
  6. Please maintain cleanliness and dispose of waste only in designated bins.

Fourth: Photography

  1. Photography is permitted in designated areas of the Museum unless stated otherwise.
  2. The use of flash or professional photography equipment is prohibited unless prior authorization is obtained from Museum management.
  3. Photographing special exhibitions or any content marked as restricted is not allowed.
  4. Visitors may be held accountable for using photographs for commercial purposes without official permission.

Fifth: Safety and Security

  1. The Museum implements security measures to ensure the safety of visitors and exhibits.
  2. Visitors may be required to pass through security screening devices upon entry.
  3. In case of emergency, please follow the instructions of security personnel and the posted safety guidelines throughout the Museum.
  4. The Museum is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings inside its premises.

Sixth: Legal Liability

  1. Visitors are fully responsible for any damage resulting from their negligence or failure to comply with instructions.
  2. The Museum or its operating company shall not be held liable for damages arising from force majeure, technical malfunctions, or circumstances beyond control.
  3. Entry to the Museum constitutes implied acceptance of all terms and conditions outlined in this document.
